Behind the flow control valve, the FV valve, there is a loading control valve – in the old diagrams it was labeled as an XV valve, while in the new diagrams it is labeled as an SDV valve. I would like to ask what role these two valves play in the loading process, considering that the SDV valve functions as an emergency shut-off valve. Um, what I want to ask is whether the XV valve or the SDV valve is more suitable for use here, or can they be used interchangeably? Does it have the same effect? I don’t quite understand valves; I hope the experts here can give me some guidance.

I accidentally typed a wrong character; it’s been corrected.
FV needs no explanation; the X in XV has no meaning – it should be a manually operated on/off valve. SDV? S stands for chain, D stands for differential pressure, and V stands for valve. Compared to XV, this one shuts off automatically in a chain reaction.
It is recommended to label them as SDV (emergency shut-off valve) and XV (on/off two-position valve); the purpose of these terms is not clear here~~
Depending on the industrial facility you are using, if an emergency shutdown is required, use SDV
