To the U-shaped shape, not a U-shaped liquid seal. Is there a flow meter behind it? It’s for accurate measurement, right?

If you are referring to the inverted U-shaped inlet pipeline inside the tank, it is there to prevent the medium inside the tank from flowing back out through the inlet pipeline in the event of an accident. Generally, an air release port is also provided 0.3–0.5 meters above the top point of the inverted U shape; if the liquid level inside the tank falls below this point, it will not be able to flow out of the tank through the inlet pipeline.
