We have a pump here that is controlled automatically. When it starts, its frequency rises to the set value and then it operates normally, but after a while the frequency drops to zero and the pump stops. If it is started again, it functions properly. I’m not sure what’s causing this issue; I hope experts can help analyze it

Check the program of the control system as well as the parameter settings of the frequency converter; if the output signal from the control system disappears after the pump stops, it is a problem with the program, otherwise it is a problem with the frequency converter
Before starting a variable-frequency pump, shouldn’t the frequency be set to 100%, and then gradually reduced to the set frequency?
The problem has been identified; it’s not related to the frequency conversion or the program. Instead, there is a interlock between the pump and a valve, and the operator failed to open the valve, which caused the pump to stop running after starting for a short while
With variable-frequency control, measuring the input signal of the inverter using a multimeter allows one to determine where the problem lies; it’s easy to find out once that is done. When troubleshooting, first check whether the operations are normal and whether the external operating environment is in good condition...
I still recommend that you check whether your frequency conversion control is analog or automatic.
The valve isn’t open; could it be overpressure? There’s a fault alarm from the frequency converter
