For the LNG tank container yard, each LNG tank container has a capacity of 40 m3; with 50 such containers in total, the overall storage capacity is approximately 2000 m3 of LNG. For such an open-air transfer station, should it be designed in accordance with the requirements for Class A tank areas or those for storage yards? What standards should be referred to for the distance from surrounding villages and roads? Note: LNG tank containers are transported by rail, in trains of 50 cars each.

It would be more reasonable to differentiate between the risk categories and reserves of hazardous substances, just as in the identification of major hazard sources. Different categories and reserves of hazardous substances result in significant differences in their TNT equivalent values, and the radius of damage caused by explosions depends mainly on these TNT equivalent values.
