PBT, or polybutylene terephthalate, is an engineering material with excellent properties: it boasts good toughness and fatigue resistance, as well as heat and weather resistance. It also has favorable electrical properties, a low water absorption rate, and comprehensive performance, which makes it widely used. By enhancing it and modifying it for flame resistance, its heat resistance, modulus, dimensional stability, and flame-retardant properties can be significantly improved; it is widely used in industries such as automotive and electronics. PBT is also an ideal material for printer brackets. PET materials used in printer bracket applications feature high gloss, high mechanical strength, good self-lubricating properties, and excellent oil resistance. However, the decorative frames made of PBT material exhibit poor adhesion after coating. HyPer C1018P is an energy-saving and environmentally friendly resin developed by the company itself; it has a high molecular weight, does not volatilize, and exhibits excellent compatibility with various plastics. With its \"super-branched\" structure, HyPer C1018P resin combines six functions: improving fluidity, increasing elongation rate, enhancing dispersion, boosting compatibility, increasing fill volume, and offering environmental sustainability along with high efficiency. HyPer C1018P belongs to the HyPe C10 series of products. During its use, it was found to significantly enhance the adhesion to PBT resin; through specialized performance optimization for PBT application areas, HyPer C1018P resin was ultimately developed. It can significantly improve the fluidity of PBT and its surface properties, while also greatly enhancing the surface adhesion of PBT, making it a specialized additive for PBT. Basic physical properties: Solid particles or powder with a density of 1.1 g/cm3, a melting range of 140–180°C, and no volatility. Application areas and advantages: The flow modifier for PBT plastics and their composites, HyPer C1018P, possesses strong wetting capabilities. It exhibits good compatibility with various fillers (calcium carbonate, talc, wollastonite, silica, glass microspheres), fibers (carbon fiber, glass fiber), stabilizers, flame retardants, release agents, and pigments. Its strong wetting ability helps to effectively prevent the \"shark skin\" phenomenon in materials with high filler content. Significantly improves surface adhesion to PBT. Just 1% of this amount is sufficient to significantly improve PBT’s flowability, surface finish, and surface adhesion at the same time.
