Dear experts, I am an operator at a coking plant. Our plant undergoes maintenance every four years. The four flow meters we had before also experienced fluctuations, but not as severe as those we’re seeing now. It has been almost four years since the plants started operating, and the flow meters were checked at that time; the manufacturer said there were basically no issues. Now the fluctuations are extremely large, with a difference of nearly 10 tons between the upstream and downstream values. Could the experts please help me analyze the cause of this? Excluding issues with the instruments, it’s also possible that the filter is clogged; the filter can be cleaned regularly, and by checking its interior, if there isn’t much residue there, then it’s very likely an issue with the instruments. We have encountered this situation before as well; the instrument took a long time to handle it. Additionally, check whether the sealing oil of the radiation pump is too thin or contains water
Could it be due to steam injection? Is the steam injection volume the same for all four channels? Is the medium-pressure steam stable? Is the road exit temperature stable?
Can it be used in conjunction with a control valve line to ensure a steady feed rate?
The flow meter has no impact before gas injection.

It’s possible that the wedge module in the wedge flow meter has been jammed by coke powder.
