May I ask everyone, what is the difference between floating ball valves and track ball valves, and what are the advantages of using track ball valves? Pneumatic ball valves are required. I see that pneumatic gate valves and pneumatic globe valves are similar; what is their sealing performance like? Could you recommend a few manufacturers and product documents for reference? I want to use a pneumatic ball valve; since it has a ball inside, I noticed that pneumatic ball valves look similar to pneumatic gate valves and pneumatic globe valves. However, the internal structures of gate valves, globe valves, and ball valves are different. Pneumatic gate valves and globe valves move up and down, so shouldn’t pneumatic ball valves operate by moving left and right?
A track ball valve features a track groove on its valve stem; it doesn’t close from side to side but rather up and down. Sealing is achieved by applying pressure to the sides when the valve is closed. I haven’t used a track ball valve myself, but you can find 3D demonstration videos of Suchu and Jiangnan’s track ball valves online, which provide clear explanations.
