What are the hazards of a clogged return feeder in a circulating fluidized bed boiler?
The return material device in a circulating fluidized bed boiler is one of the key components of the boiler. If this device stops working suddenly, material will accumulate rapidly within it. If the material level is not properly controlled, coal particles that have not yet had time to burn will do so, causing the temperature of the ash and material to rise significantly; in severe cases, this can lead to damage to the equipment. Furthermore, it will also result in an insufficient amount of material circulating inside the furnace, causing the bed temperature to rise sharply and become difficult to control, thereby threatening the boiler’s load and normal operation.
