Phosphorus levels just won’t go down; using more phosphorus removal agents results in an excessive amount of sludge, and flocculation and sedimentation don’t work well. Seeking help. What is the coagulant and flocculant you use? And how is the PH controlled? The most important thing is to accelerate sludge discharge
If it is orthophosphate, common ions such as Ca, Fe, and Al can generally meet the 0.5 mg/L requirement; however, if the water contains phosphites and metaphosphates, this method cannot remove them.
