Although this is common sense, there are very few manufacturers that actually go to such lengths ; Many machine failures are caused by assembly errors, and this label is really useful. Another detail of attention is that the screws connecting the upper and lower covers of the bearing come with stop washers, which are not commonly seen in other units, but there is a reason for their existence ; Another thing is the removal of thrust bearings – no excessive force is needed; simply pressing down gently is sufficient to remove them. Domestic manufacturers sometimes have to use a lot of effort to remove them, by prying or pulling ; The most crucial aspect is the installation of the oil seal in the bearing housing – it can be done simply by pressing it down with the hand, without the need for any other tools. When installing oil seals on other types of machinery (including Japanese-made machines), it’s impossible to do it properly without a hammer or a copper rod. There is also an old set of equipment that uses Mitsubishi turbines, which are from around the 1980s. Compared to German turbines, those from Mitsubishi are more difficult to disassemble, especially when it comes to the thrust bearings and other components. . .
