Gentlemen, how is the FDW-3 catalyst, which is used in industry for the hydrodesulfurization of diesel, activated? Should it be used after reduction or after sulfidation?
The diesel hydrodesulfurization catalyst is used in the same manner as conventional hydrogenation catalysts. Simple vulcanization is also required.
In our area, DMDS is generally used as a vulcanizing agent in diesel hydrotreating units. At the start of operation, after vulcanization, its activity is too high; therefore, straight-run diesel is produced first, with other feedstocks being gradually added to it.

Do you have a process section, or is there a demulsification section afterward?
Two reactors, one for refining and one for demulsification.
Which brand or model do you use for your full reduction catalyst?
