When 95% alcohol and 99% alcohol are mixed together

The finished tank was originally filled with 95% alcohol, and the range of the level gauge was calculated based on the density of 95% alcohol. Due to an operator’s mistake, 99% alcohol was poured in instead. After that, 10 tons of product were discharged; what the operator considered to be 10 tons was actually the amount indicated by the level gauge. So, was the actual amount discharged greater than 10 tons or less than 10 tons?
Is 95 dense? That’s what’s missing
The density of alcohol is less than that of water, right? When the liquid level is the same, that is, the volume is the same, the overall density decreases, and as a result the mass becomes lighter.
This post was last edited by flyair on 2016-1-5 09:54. I think the actual output weight has nothing to do with the density of the medium. For vertical storage tanks, it should be equal to 10t; for horizontal tanks or spherical tanks, it may be greater than 10t or less than 10t.
The eja level gauge displays the value as a percentage on-site, while the control room shows the value in terms of tons after conversion; workers who are responsible for discharging material refer to the tonnage value displayed on the control room computer
