Atlas air compressors are classified into different types based on their mode of operation. In the case of compressors with two motors, it is common for the exhaust temperatures of the two motors to differ. There are various methods available for analyzing and resolving such issues, such as insufficient lubricant, deteriorated lubricant, faults in the oil cut-off valve, or problems with the fuel injectors. However, these are all merely surface-level problems; in my opinion, the underlying cause has not yet been identified. For example, if there is insufficient lubricant, shouldn’t the temperatures of both motors increase? Why is the temperature of just one print head higher than that of the other? This leads to this week’s topic: For compressors operating with two heads, if the outlet temperatures of these two heads are not identical, or even differ significantly, what do you think is the root cause of this issue? This is a twin-screw compressor; I’ll show you a photo when I have time. It’s actually quite easy to understand – it’s just one motor that drives two compressors, with the two compressors placed in parallel.
I really haven’t seen this before. Is the motor in the middle, with a shaft running through it, and are the compressors arranged symmetrically on either side of the motor, similar to the one-to-two configuration used in turbines? ?
