There’s a small tank with a DN500 diameter on the project (it’s just a tube of that size), vertical in design, with a safety valve outlet on it. The elevation of the pipe outlet is over 3 meters above the ground; of course, there are also 2 pipe outlets for other purposes. I thought that, following traditional thinking, a platform would be necessary, but since the tank is only DN500, the platform would need to be at least 800 wide, right? I wonder, fellow sailors, have you seen such a platform in person? Or is it possible to construct one using civil engineering methods? Thank you so much!
What this platform does is not much different from what a pillar does. . .
It seems we’ll have to find a solution with the piping; such a small tank isn’t worth it. I just don’t know if it’s feasible for civil engineering roots to take hold.
If the vibration isn’t too much or anything, then it’s fine. . .
I’m not sure if the drawings were prepared by the equipment engineering team. If so, the piping engineering team can provide the necessary platform conditions for the equipment, and then the equipment engineering team can create the platform drawings; If the equipment is supplied by the vendor, it may not be possible to start work on it once it arrives at the site, in which case a ground platform will have to be constructed
Place a step so that one can reach the safety valve.
Let the structural engineering team handle it. For such a small tank, there’s no space for pre-welded plates
