The company manufactures mobile pressure vessels. According to TSGR0005-2011, section 4.4.1, the appearance and geometric dimensions of the cylinder and the head are relevant; the main inspection items include (4) the straightness, ellipticity, and length of the cylinder. What is the allowable error range for the length of the cylinder, and what about that of the tank?

A positive deviation might make the entire semi-trailer too long. Moreover, what is an appropriate value for this positive deviation? I calculate it based on 1‰ of the dimensions
The allowable deviation is at most 10 mm; semi-trailers are generally 12 to 13 meters long, so it’s impossible for the entire vehicle to be too long. I think 1‰ of the size is appropriate.
