If a company views your resume ten times in five days on different websites but still doesn’t call to schedule an interview, what are they thinking?
Be proactive and call the company.
It would be great if it were available… Am I drunk or are they drunk?
It’s just that there’s no phone interview, and it’s not urgent either.
Find the phone number of their company’s HR department; search on the website for any relevant numbers, and give them a call on your own – you might get something unexpected as a result
It’s probably a problem with the search engine settings. The other party loses just a few characters each time; check those that meet the criteria.
Failing to call to inform you about an interview means they are not interested in you; trying to get in touch on your own will only result in being ignored, which will instead undermine your confidence. Be patient and wait for job applications to come in; believe in yourself – someone who will recognize your talents will surely appear.
I’ve taken into account accidental searches, the fact that there’s no shortage of candidates at the moment, and a lack of interest; it’s just that browsing through job seekers like this is frustrating. I hope positions where both parties can find common ground will appear. Sigh... it's really helpless :(
The original poster is overthinking it. Perhaps the other party needs people, but they can’t find anyone satisfactory, and they don’t remember each time they’ve seen someone’s profile; that’s why they keep coming across the same person’s information. There are so many people looking for jobs these days, and if the HR staff isn’t careful, they surely won’t be able to remember who’s resumes they’ve already reviewed. Be patient at multiple points.
To be honest, my patience is almost running out. I’m even losing confidence in myself. The greatest pleasure of each day is watching the old men in the neighborhood feed the stray cats and dogs, and then going back to quietly work on my resume, while looking at the sea and the mountains :)
From experience, talking on the phone is more direct; checking a few times a day doesn’t mean much
