How is the water injection volume for coking calculated?

How is the amount of water or gas to be injected during coking determined? They all say there’s a formula, but when I ask others, they say they don’t know it. If you know, please let me know. Thanks.
It depends on the pressure of the furnace; as long as there is no significant change compared to normal, that’s fine. The general steam injection rate is 1%-3% of the process medium flow rate
It must have been calculated through professional software simulations
