The table shows that the distance between Class A and B pumps (rooms) and Class C (>1000 rooms) flammable liquids is 12 meters. According to the note in Article 6, \"The fire separation distance for Class 6 pump rooms shall not be less than 75% of that for Class A and B pump rooms. However, when the volume of a single above-ground flammable liquid storage tank exceeds 500 m3, the fire separation distance shall not be less than 10 m; when the volume of a single above-ground flammable liquid storage tank does not exceed 500 m3, it shall not be less than 8 m.\" ” Shouldn’t the pumps in Class C tank farms themselves, as well as the Class C tank farms themselves, be 9 meters in height? However, the commentary on the provisions states: “10) Sewage treatment facilities containing flammable liquids (including oils), as well as Class A and B pump rooms in tank areas: The fire separation distances from other building facilities in the plant shall be determined in coordination with current standards such as the **‘Fire Protection Design Code for Petrochemical Enterprises’ GB50160.” ” Does this mean that this distance is the spacing between the pump in Category C tank farm and other buildings, rather than the spacing from the tank farm itself?
The pumps in the tank area also belong to that area, and the distance required does not need to follow the distance specified for the boundary zones
