However, the commentary on the provisions states: “10) Sewage treatment facilities containing flammable liquids (including oils), as well as Class A and B pump rooms in tank areas: The fire separation distances from other building facilities in the plant shall be determined in coordination with current standards such as the **‘Fire Protection Design Code for Petrochemical Enterprises’ GB50160.” ” Does this mean that this distance is the spacing between the pump in Category C tank farm and other buildings, rather than the spacing from the tank farm itself?
