Where should the manhole for a normal-pressure circulation water tank that is 3 meters long, 2 meters wide, and 3.5 meters high be located? On top, or on the side? Is DN500 okay? Thank you
First, there should be one on the top, and it’s better to have one as well on the side bottom.

For circulating water, there are probably not many impurities or sedimentary substances, so it can be operated at that level. As for whether to set it at 500 or 600, please check the standard catalogs – they contain the relevant dimensions
One opening on the side: DN500, with the center line 500 mm from the bottom plate
The minimum diameter of the manhole is DN500. In my opinion, one must be provided at the bottom on the side, as it is necessary to consider whether the circulating water will be in a closed-loop system or an open-loop system; impurities such as silt can accumulate in the water and need to be removed.
It should be installed at the top; DN500 is fine. Minimum DN450.
