I have a few questions. 1: It seems that on SH-3046, only Table 5-1 shows the maximum impact-free stress for PN flanges at various temperatures. So where can I find the maximum impact-free stress at various temperatures for Class flanges? 2: Regarding the pipe wall thickness, there are Sch and STD grades. In addition to using SHT 3405-2012 for conversion, are there any national or industry standards that specifically address Sch and STD?
Sch and STD, two grades? :There are multiple levels in OSH, and one of them includes STD, right? The commonly used sizes are STD, 40, 80, 160, XXS.
Is the poster still looking at the 96 version of the SH3406? The 2013 version of SH3406 specifies the PN and the corresponding CLASS, and they are consistent. Sch is a notation for wall thickness series, while STD is one of the weight-based wall thickness notations (along with XS, XXS, etc.).
The wall thickness of pipes is generally determined based on the design pressure and diameter, and then rounded up in accordance with relevant standards. For Class series, the standard ASME B36.10M-2004 \"Welded and Seamless Rolled Steel Tubes\" can be referred to.
