Regarding the forming of end caps

Hello everyone. Regarding the forming of end caps, I know there are 4 processing methods in total: cold forming (cold spinning and cold pressing) and hot forming (hot spinning and hot pressing). Who knows what their advantages and disadvantages are? Under what circumstances should which processing method be used, and what is the basis for that?
Advantages of cold pressing: 1. Energy-efficient and environmentally friendly; 2. Good surface quality; 3. Enables mass production; 4. Easy to maintain precise geometric dimensions. Disadvantages of cold pressing: 1. The thickness is limited due to the high pressing force; 2. High-strength materials with low elongation rates such as titanium and zirconium are prone to cracking and becoming unusable; 3. It is difficult to shape end caps with large diameters and high degrees of deformation. Hot pressing is the opposite in these aspects
