The controller is of the Gulf model: JB-QB-GST500
It is possible to set the device so that no alarm is generated in case of a failure, without any input required
In my opinion, if the fire alarm controller is faulty, it can be set to a non-alarm mode; once the fault in the controller is resolved, it can be set back to normal operation.
This setting isn’t listed in the manual; does that mean it can’t be set this way?

Well, you’re right; in our explosion-proof areas, a module is equipped with several manual buttons, while in non-explosion-proof areas each button has its own address. The key issue here is that the button smoke detector works normally; it’s only the controller that reports a fault, with the alarm horn keeping ringing.
Contact the maintenance team for an inspection; it might be due to prolonged use, with the external environment (rain, exposure to air, etc.) affecting the contacts, or there could be issues with components such as the grids
