The company has a water ring vacuum pump; after operating for some time, it produces a loud noise. When the exhaust valve on the air intake tank is slightly opened, the noise gradually decreases. Soft water is used as the sealing fluid for water ring pumps, while tap water is used as the cooling water for Roots pumps. Is this the sound of cavitation? And if so, how can it be resolved? Check whether there is any material blockage in the inlet pipeline and the impeller inside the vacuum pump; clean it out. Make sure that the inlet valve is not too small
