Our factory has recently built a new polyester production line. Based on the experience gained from the old line, it is difficult to find a level gauge that offers good performance and durability for the pre-polymerization reactor, as this reactor operates under high vacuum and negative pressure. On one of the lines, a blow-out type level gauge combined with a radioactive level gauge was used, and the results were very good. However, this new project is a research-and-development line with an annual production capacity of only 10,000 tons; therefore, we prefer not to use radioactive level gauges.
