There is a vent valve at the top; otherwise, pressure will build up. A level gauge should be installed at the top of the container to check whether it is filled with liquid. Cooling occurs only through liquid-phase flashing; for example, the exhaust valve closes when liquid is discharged (as the downstream pipes become cold and frosty), and the downstream system may be designed for low temperatures. To fill the tank, the gas phase pressure inside it must first be established; otherwise, flashing will occur upon filling.
Since there is a gas phase present in the container before it is filled, if ventilation is not carried out at the highest point, the gas phase accumulates at the top, preventing the container from reaching a fully filled state. This results in fluctuations when the container is put into use, affecting the stability of production.
