Selection specifications for safety valve hand valves

Are there any standards governing the selection of safety valve hand valves? Which is more suitable, a gate valve or a globe valve?
Anyway, we use gate valves everywhere. I haven’t seen any standards specifying which valve should be used. There is a statement that says: \"When a shut-off valve is installed on the inlet pipeline of a safety valve, the shut-off valve should be in the fully open position, and the cross-sectional area of this valve in its fully open state should be no smaller than the inlet area of the safety valve.\" The relevant standard for safety valves is SH 3012-2011, the Code for Design of Metal Piping in Petrochemical Industries.
