The company plans to install a reciprocating compressor, considering a single-stage, two-cylinder design. Is it possible to achieve long-term stable operation at load levels of 40%, 60%, and 80% by installing a suction valve to overcome the constraints? I hope those with more experience can offer some advice!
It is feasible based on certain principles; these principles involve using pressure to open the intake valve during part of the stroke. It is also possible to consider stepless adjustment of air volume, which would make the operation more economical and convenient
For two-stage primary compression, using the top-opening suction valve control method, it is possible to achieve five levels of adjustment: 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. To enable long-term operation at 40%, 60%, and 80%, circuit control can be utilized.
