What are fluidized bed particle entrainment and stripping phenomena?
Entrainment and stripping are two different concepts. Entrainment generally refers to the phenomenon in single-particle or multi-component systems where an airflow carries solid particles away from the bed. In free airspace below the transport separation altitude, the closer to the transport separation altitude, the smaller the entrainment amount. Straining refers to the phenomenon of separating and removing fine powder from a mixture. This phenomenon occurs in both the areas below and above the conveying separation height within the furnace.
