I’ve heard of this for the first time; please help out and check what the experts below have to say. :)
What materials should be used for the filtration and purification of sulfur trioxide gas? What about temperature?
It is not known whether ceramic fiber tubes currently used in gasification are being applied to the purification of sulfuric acid flue gases; the problems related to high temperatures and corrosion have been resolved, and such tubes can also overcome the high-temperature limitations associated with electrostatic dust removal
The temperature of the sulfur trioxide gas after passing through the third heat exchanger is around 180°C；
