As the title suggests, our facility produces large quantities of heavy oil \"residual oil\" as a by-product of cracking and hydrogenation processes. I’m wondering if any of you have resources that could be used to reuse this heavy oil and enhance its value as a petroleum product. You can add each other as friends and chat privately. Could you provide the key parameters for your hydrocracking tail oil? For example: sulfur and nitrogen content, viscosity, viscosity index, density, freezing point, aromatic content, etc. It should also be noted that the best use for hydrocracking tail oil at present is as a feedstock for lubricant hydrogenation or for catalytic cracking (depending on the carbon residue value).
There are now fluidized bed and suspended bed coal tar hydrogenation units, which should be able to handle tail oil.

It’s likely difficult to use this indicator for lubricant hydrogenation; given the high aromatic content, it might be possible to incorporate it into the catalyst

Tail oil recycling, fed in in combination with catalysis, and deethanization units are considered; however, it becomes somewhat difficult if the BMCI is too high
