Could any senior expert explain the process flow for butane isomerization?
The facilities for the comprehensive utilization of liquefied gas through advanced processing, designed by our company for Shandong Shenchili Petrochemical Co., Ltd., including a 400,000-ton/year C3&C4 mixed dehydrogenation unit, a 200,000-ton/year n-butane isomerization unit, a 350,000-ton/year MTBE production unit, and a 50,000-ton/year MTBE depolymerization unit, are about to begin operation. We welcome the original poster to communicate with us and work together for development.
We have built several sets; the Shouguang Luqing dehydrogenation unit is equipped with an isomerization device, and the entire large-scale system has been successfully put into operation. You can message me to talk

Which design company are you from?
We also want to try it, though we’re not sure what the benefits will be
I’d like to ask gently, what is the purpose of C4 isomerization?
What process is there? It’s just an isomerization reactor; a catalyst is required
This is relatively simple, with many documents and technology providers available. Our company does it too. It is an isomerization of tetra-carbon compounds after etherification, with the goal of obtaining high-purity isobutylene.
