What are the preventive measures against an increase in the pressure difference between the upper and lower sections, as well as between the middle and lower sections, in the DMTO wash tower?
Plate blockage in wash towers is a common problem. Excess differential pressure in the middle and upper sections is usually caused by grease buildup; injecting xylene can be effective for this issue. Blockages in the middle and lower sections are generally due to catalyst buildup, and in such cases holes can be made and the area cleaned with a high-pressure water gun.
Rinsing the middle and lower parts with a high-pressure water gun still doesn’t reduce the flow rate

Reducing the feed lowers the temperature at the bottom of the wash tower; this is mainly due to the low-temperature condensation of aromatic compounds in the upper part of the wash tower, which results in an increase in pressure difference. Xingxing Company uses xylene injection to reduce the pressure difference in the wash tower.
Hasn’t Xingxing been in operation for long, and yet the pressure drop in the water wash tower is already so significant?
