The single-stage diaphragm compressor used suffers from unstable oil pressure during operation; the normal operating parameters are 0.24 MPa at the inlet and 2.1 MPa at the outlet. Oil pressure: 2.4 MPa. During operation, the oil pressure first stabilizes at 2.4 MPa; after operating for a while, it gradually decreases, or once it drops to a certain level it starts to rise again. If the pressure falls below the outlet pressure, abnormal operation occurs. The compressor oil pump system was replaced, as were all the check valves, and the negative oil pressure control valve was also replaced. However, the problem persists even after restarting. I would like to ask those who have encountered this situation how they resolved it Also, could you determine how much the difference between the oil pressure and the inlet pressure should be before operation can be stopped?
What is the medium that your compressor compresses? Oil? Does unstable pressure refer to the compressor outlet?
First, let me explain it to you: a diaphragm compressor actually has a simple system consisting of oil circuits, gas circuits, water circuits, and electrical circuits. The stability of the gas circuit is ensured by the oil circuit. The oil circuit is primarily composed of a shaft head pump, a compensation pump, various check valves, pressure regulating valves, unloading valves, as well as pipelines. When a problem occurs with the equipment, it is usually necessary to check the parts that have been replaced; however, if the equipment still does not function properly after those replacements, then it is possible that there is an internal leak. The possible locations of such leaks are: 1) the unloading valve, 2) the piston rings. Check your unloading valve first; if that doesn’t work, then you’ll have to check the piston rings.
