In the past, the requirements were not strict, which is why there were design firms specialized in safety-related work; now, however, the requirements have become stricter, and safety supervision agencies are paying more attention to this aspect as well. Because if the design of safety facilities and the detailed design are not carried out by the same entity, it is not possible to meet the requirement of \"simultaneous implementation\" for safety facilities, nor can safety facilities be designed simultaneously with the main project.
Is the design of safety facilities not the same as the detailed design? Is there such a strange thing?
Document No. 45 issued by the State Administration of Work Safety provides clear provisions in the **Measures for the Safety Supervision and Management of Chemical Construction Projects**: Article 16 stipulates that the design unit shall, in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, rules regarding work safety, as well as **standards and industry standards**, and taking into account the opinions on the safety assessment of the construction project, design the safety facilities for such projects in line with the **Guidelines for Safety Design Management of Chemical Construction Projects** (AQ/T3033), and prepare a separate document detailing the design of those safety facilities. The special section on the design of safety facilities for construction projects shall meet the requirements of the **Guidelines for Compiling the Special Section on the Design of Safety Facilities for Chemical Construction Projects**.
