Our company currently uses a single-tower alkaline desulfurization system that has been in operation for one year. Recently, the regeneration efficiency has declined; no foam is produced during the regeneration phase. The total alkali level is between 20 and 25, while the sodium carbonate level is between 5 and 8 – all of these values are within acceptable ranges. The volume of gas processed is approximately 4–4.5 Wm3. We kindly ask our expert colleagues to help resolve this issue.
Measure the total amount of by-products and the content of gas oil dust, etc
Are the impurities in the gas before desulfurization (tar, naphthalene, etc.) above the specified limits? Is there a problem with the desulfurizer?
