Dear teachers: How can I determine the flow area of the gas return line for the external heat exchanger in a catalytic cracking unit? Thank you

Has the lining ever fallen off at the elbow of the gas return line of your external heat exchanger?
None have been found; no hotspots detected.
No signs of detachment were found; there is some wear
