The purification of caprolactam involves reduced vacuum in the main distillation column (which mainly contains caprolactam along with some oligomers and trace amounts of water); a temporary increase in the temperature at the column top, followed by a decrease, then another sharp increase, with gradually decreasing reflux. What causes these phenomena? How should this be resolved?

I’m not sure what type of pump is being used in your application; I recommend using a dry screw pump, model 13586097102
It has a lot to do with the operation; make more adjustments.
