How do I use the IR software? Any model will do. It’s mainly used to deceive people. I watched Nicolet’s video, but I didn’t understand how to access the measurement interface.

Generally, infrared analysis software is specialized and is developed based on certain algorithms from chemometrics. If the user has no experience with infrared analysis nor any knowledge of chemometrics, it’s not easy to master this method of infrared analysis, as such software does not have an interface similar to that of chromatographs, titrators, or other types of analytical instruments; rather, it resembles mathematical operations related to statistics. Because in current infrared spectroscopy analysis, Fourier transformation combined with an interferometer is generally used to analyze infrared spectra, and this type of spectral analysis is based on mathematical operations, particularly some basic methods from chemometrics and statistics such as principal factor analysis, error analysis, multiple linear regression, and least squares. Such algorithms are generally implemented by software developed by professional researchers in applied mathematics. A very well-known developer of such software (CAMO) is from the Netherlands; it’s called Unscrambler, and it’s quite famous. It is estimated that this software has now been upgraded to version 10.0 or higher. Many people have played with such things before, but they have forgotten about it now. I only remember the name of that software.
