Some pumps have bearing housings with a single end face and I-seals, while others have front and rear bearing housings along with seals. What is the difference? I’d appreciate some guidance, thank you
What you want to ask is probably the difference between cantilever centrifugal pumps and multi-stage centrifugal pumps, right?
Take a look at the classification of centrifugal pump structures in API610
The distinction lies between cantilever pumps and double-support pumps; generally, cantilever pumps have a lower pumping capacity and less power~~
