Personally, I think a four-shift three-shift system is better. Although a four-shift two-shift system seems to offer longer rest periods, the continuous working hours are too long, which can lead to fatigue and safety accidents; it also does not comply with the relevant requirements of labor laws.
Our Class 4 has been operating on a two-shift system for over a decade; we’ve long wanted to return to a three-shift system there. After a two-month trial period, the workers who worked under the new schedule were completely upset, so we reverted to the two-shift system again. 9 to 15.

It depends on your working environment. I think a four-shift, two-shift rotation is better; with a three-shift system, one worker has to come in the middle of the night, which poses serious safety issues. If there is a shuttle bus, running it three times still incurs costs.
