Process parameters are the requirements that each process must meet, such as yield, sulfur content, and so on. Operating parameters refer to controllable references such as temperature, pressure, and flow rate. Should the reference for that process be the same as the operating parameters? I really can’t figure out these terms. Is there anyone who could help explain them? I’d be very grateful~
Some parameters cannot be adjusted, such as the temperature or pressure of the heating steam used by the device; at least the entity using it cannot make any changes to them, and these also constitute process parameters. For another example, when you control a temperature or liquid level, there is a corresponding flow rate; this flow rate sometimes needs to be controlled, while at other times it does not.
There is a significant difference between process parameters and the actual operations on site; after all, one is a theoretically-based concept from the laboratory, while the other represents real-world practical operations

My understanding is that process parameters are the standards, the guidelines. Operating parameters are the actuators that can be adjusted in order to meet the process requirements. Process parameters correspond to these requirements; some of them can be adjusted, while others cannot
In actual production, there’s no need to worry about what these values are called What is more important is how to adjust and optimize these values to serve production, as well as gaining a deep understanding of the underlying meaning of each parameter! Many people who are very skilled at production may not be able to distinguish these names clearly! !
Process parameters generally refer to a range within which the operating parameters must remain; these parameters are fine-tuned in response to changes such as ambient temperature, humidity, raw material composition, system pressure, and other factors, so as to keep the system in an optimal operating condition.
