Plug in the power supply to reset the elongation display. 2. Prepare the sample – straighten the specimen to be tested; when straightening it, its elongation should be less than 1% and no damage should occur. 3. Install the sample: adjust the screw of the clamps so that the two clamping jaws can hold the sample firmly. Clamp both ends of the sample between the fixed and movable jaws. When clamping the sample, use an appropriate amount of force to avoid damaging it. 4. Turn the activation toggle switch to the right; the movable clamp begins to move, the specimen is subjected to force and stretches, and the LCD displays the change in the elongation rate of the specimen under test. 5. When the specimen breaks, the movable clamp stops moving, and the elongation rate of the specimen being tested is displayed. 6. Record the test results, remove the specimen being tested, turn the activation toggle switch to the left so that the movable clamp returns to its initial position, after which it stops automatically.
