Do pressure transmitters belong to electric remote pressure gauges?
A pressure transmitter is a specialized device that converts pressure into a standard signal for transmission to secondary instruments, while an electric remote pressure gauge adds an electrical conversion module to a conventional pressure gauge in order to send the pressure signal to secondary instruments. In the past, in order to meet market demands, pressure gauge manufacturers expanded the functions of these devices, giving rise to electric remote transmission pressure gauges; however, today large-scale production facilities rarely use such electric remote transmission pressure gauges.
