What are the installation requirements for oxygen detectors? Mainly, what area can one detector cover? Are there any relevant standards for this? I heard that, in terms of toxic gases, the detection area for one sensor is 1.5 square meters?
Is there no one to give some advice? Should the testing standards be based on combustible gases or toxic gases?

I am from a manufacturing factory. Oxygen is neither flammable nor toxic. The range is 0-30% VOL, with a dedicated sensor. Low oxygen levels can cause suffocation, which is what is known as hypoxia. Detection range: about 10 meters, or one oxygen detector can be placed in an area of 20–30 square meters.

Firstly, it is because there may be a lack of oxygen in the environment, that is, hypoxia, which can lead to suffocation among those present. Secondly, it should be taken into account that too high an oxygen level can also cause harm to the human body. Therefore, the oxygen content is not measured in terms of LEL% or ppm, but rather in VOL%, which represents the proportion of oxygen in the air within a given environment. The oxygen content in the air is typically 21.5% VOL; therefore, the low and high alarm settings for our detectors are usually set at 19.5% VOL and 23.5% VOL respectively
There is also oxygen that acts as an oxidizing agent; many chemical raw materials react with oxygen to produce flammable or toxic gases.
The layout of oxygen alarm detectors should follow the layout requirements for combustible gas detectors. Generally, indoors, it should be within a radius of no more than 15 meters. Setting of oxygen alarm values: Europeans generally have lower oxygen tolerance than Asians; in European countries, the oxygen alarm value is usually set at 19% V, while in Asian countries it is typically set at 18% V (or 18.5%).
