What impact does water inside the low-temperature synthesis reactor have on the system?
Regarding catalysts, for cobalt catalysts on non-aluminum-based carriers, the presence of water in the reactor increases the reaction rate, and the selectivity for olefins also improves. For iron catalysts, it is more complex, but at least the selectivity for CO2 increases.
