In reciprocating hydrogen-nitrogen compressors, since saturated semi-water gas is fed in, manual drainage is required for the drain lines at each stage after compression; otherwise, vapor leakage will occur, and if drainage is not carried out in a timely manner, liquid may be carried along. Has anyone used steam traps to replace manual drainage of these drain lines? I would be very grateful if you could provide information on manufacturers and their contact details

It is completely achievable; an electromagnetic valve can also be added for timed discharge. The instrument workshop in your unit can be improved.
Both valves and level gauges cost money, and modifying the equipment is complicated. What I’m asking is whether there are any steam traps that can be used

Automatic discharge can certainly be achieved, but it is unlikely to be automated without incurring additional costs. If the system pressure remains stable, it is possible to install an additional safety valve. When the liquid level reaches a certain height, the pressure of the water itself combined with the pressure of the gas inside the tank causes the safety valve to open, allowing water to be drained. Once the water has been completely drained, the pressure of the gas in the tank is no longer sufficient to open the safety valve, which then remains closed. But generally, production systems should have some fluctuations to some extent!
