Greenhouse gases pose a significant threat to the Earth these days. Are there any colleagues working on the capture and liquefaction of carbon dioxide? Could we exchange some ideas – what processes do you use, and what type of amine solutions are employed?
Here, we recover carbon dioxide, then purify it using refrigeration methods to produce food-grade carbon dioxide.
Shenhua Group has a CCS facility with an annual capacity of 100,000 tons in Inner Mongolia, which has been in operation.

We use an amine solution called AEA; I don’t know its specific chemical properties, as the manager said it’s classified as confidential.

The AEA we use is a new type of absorbent; it is called carboxymethylamine and was developed by Dalian University of Technology.
