Our company has several tank-type devices, and the vortex breakers tend to get clogged, which prevents the pumps from pumping fluid. It’s quite difficult to deal with. The things that cause blockages are those fine residues resulting from the coking of our materials at high temperatures; they’re not very large, similar to sand on a beach. This problem has been plaguing us for a long time, and we were wondering if any experienced professionals could offer some advice. Can the vortex breaker be modified? Are there any drawings or something?
