Insulation damage: Faults resulting from damage to the insulation protection of crane cables due to certain factors ; 3. Insulation moisture intrusion: refers to faults that occur when moisture or other substances penetrate the insulation layer, allowing direct contact between the cable and its central metal conductive part ; 4. Overvoltage: This is one of the common faults in the electrical system of cranes, and there are many reasons for it ; 5. Overheating: This can be detected simply by feeling the temperature of the cable with your hand. Issues such as overvoltage and overcurrent can cause the cable to overheat, which in turn can lead to malfunctions in the crane or its components, preventing them from functioning properly and even shortening their service life.
