Hangqi T8590: intake air pressure of 4.9 MP, rotational speed of 10359 r/min. Dual shaft output. 1-to-2 configuration: the high-pressure side is equipped with a low-pressure centrifugal compressor, while the exhaust side has a high-pressure centrifugal compressor. After three years of operation, the shaft at the exhaust end is now experiencing intermittent vibrations on an irregular basis; the vibration amplitude ranges from 15um to 45um. New bearing shells have been installed, as the old ones were worn down by 0.02mm. Everything else is normal; when there is vibration, reducing the load or lowering the speed will cause the vibration to gradually decrease back to normal levels. The problem has been around for almost a year. Dear masters, please help analyze the reason.
Look for the cause at the operational level or in terms of intake air quality
Has the intake side been checked? It is recommended to check the intake side; there might be something to find there
Reducing the load and speed lowers vibration; this is likely due to an issue with dynamic balance or alignment

During installation, check whether the compressive force on the top of the bearing lead is within the specified range; if it is normal, a physicochemical analysis of the lubricating oil should be considered.

During prolonged operation, the long-term erosion of the last-stage blades of turbines with such high power levels leads to corrosion, which in turn causes imbalance. 4. Prolonged operation can cause wear on the steam seal teeth or the retaining rings of the guide vanes. It is recommended to shut down for maintenance.
